In loving memory of Anita Christine Gomez, who entered into the arms of Jesus our Lord and Savior on December 28, 2021at the age of 56. Born in Pueblo, Colorado on August 5, 1965.
Preceded in death by her mother, Isabel C. Gomez. Survived by her “daddy,” Louis Gomez; her husband, Steven Fernandez; her siblings, Betty (Robert) Hobbs, Monica A. Gomez, John R. Gomez and Margaret A. Gomez; her nieces, Sarah Gomez (Casey) and Elisha Gomez; nephews, Ryan Hobbs (Teresa) and Jonathan Hobbs; her great nephews, Jonathan Gomez and Luke Hobbs; her granddaughter, Loveaya Sisneros; stepdaughters, Jessica Westbrook and Danielle Fernandez; and her extended family and friends.
Anita loved spending time with family. She touched so many lives. Her infectious laughter will never be forgotten as it is etched in all of our hearts. She loved listening to stories of the Bible. Never missed a Broncos game, loved to read, shop and loved music, singing and playing guitar. She was an incredible typist. She loved her friends Donna Medina and Valerie Martinez who preceded her in death.
Anita earned a fifth degree black belt in Butokan Kempo Karate. She won many matches and tournaments.
Anita was loving, kind, caring and always so giving. She’ll remain in our hearts and memories until we meet her again. We love and miss her dearly.

Oh my this totally caught me by surprise. I cant believe my cuz passed away. Anita was my age. I want to send my heartfelt condolences to all of the family. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. I will miss my cuz and her beautiful laugh and smile. May God have a special place for her. We all love you.
