Amy Maureen Comiskey, 27, passed away Dec. 7, 2011. Survived by her parents, Timothy J. Comiskey(Lori) and Teresa E. Comiskey; sisters, Ashley and Desi Comiskey; stepbrother, Teal Carpenter; stepsister, Ciara Carpenter; stepdaughter and the light of her life, Emma Perkins; grandfather, John Giarratano; grandmother, Jean Comiskey; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth 'Nana' Giarratano and grandfather, James Comiskey. Amy was born March 23, 1984, in Pueblo. She was a 2002 graduate of Centennial High and also attended Colorado State University. Special thank you to Bobbi Hall for her kindness and caring and the ICU staff of St. Mary Corwin. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A private memorial service will be held.     I was very sorry to hear of Amy’s passing. I did not know her well but she is in a better place with no worries and in the sweet embrace of the lord where she can continue to bless those that love her. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you all, I was sad to here of her passing.
    I will always remember the time we went to the Denver Aquarium on a very snowy day and we got to pet the stingrays. She had a great smile and great laugh and she loved her family. She always had a kind word to say.

When she was around it was hard for anyone to be sad because she had that type of personality. One of the things I remember about her is her smile and how it could make anyone smile.

  22. To Amy’s family…. A beautiful soul has gone to paradise. Amy was one of my Biology students at Centennial High School, always a bright smile, her wonderful laugh and her brightness shone daily.
