Amber L. Sanders, 30, of Pueblo West, Colo., passed away July 6, 2013. Survived by her parents, Lorrie and Robert Heckmann; sons, Kolby, Caleb and Carter; siblings, Matt, Robert (Shelby) and Alissa; grandparents, Betty Sanders and Bob Heckmann; and numerous friends and co-workers. Preceded in death by a grandfather, Ken Sanders. Amber was born Feb. 1, 1983, in Modesto, Calif. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Visitation, Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. and funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, both at Montgomery & Steward Chapel, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO. I’m Melissa Mansbridge’s future mother-in-law. Melissa is a fellow-Applebee’s friend, co-worker and occasional babysitter to Carter. Melissa texted a picture of Carter to me one day when she was caring for him at my duplex while doing some laundry. I was touched by his sweet smile and could see Amber’s love for him in his eyes. When Melissa shared the news about Amber, it crushed me. My deepest feelings go to her Mom, Dad, her dear three boys, her brothers & sister, and grandparents and friends. I’m so sorry for your loss.
We love you Amber and we will miss you. To Amber’s family we send our condolences. Amber was taken from you far too soon but we know that she will continue to live on in your hearts.

Amber, I’ve known & worked by you for 8 years through Applebee’s. We spent many late nights talking late about our children,us being Cali girls, life, love & The Backstreet Boys. From the start you always had a welcoming smile, kid like laugh, hard worker & a eternal bond with your boys. I send my love to you from far away & you’ll always be my Apple Buddy. Lorrie, I am so sorry for the loss of Amber. I am very thankful I was able to meet her when I came to visit Colorado so many years ago. I wish words could comfort but I know they can’t. Please know ya’ll are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love ya’ll!
