Alvis M. Davis, 88, passed away Oct. 18, 2007. Preceded in death by his dear and loving wife, Helen. Survived by his son, Steven Davis of Pueblo West; daughter, Joyce (Mark) Williams of Farwell, Texas; grandsons, Ryan (Annie) Williams, Reagan Williams and Russell Williams; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Davis was born to Bert and Lorena Davis on Dec. 31, 1918, in Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during WWII. Mr. Davis owned and operated Bessemer Auto Sales for 55 years. He will be missed by his family and numerous friends. The family wishes to extend its thanks to Dr. John Kunstle and his wife, Amy Kunstle, for their many years of kindness and care. Service, 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Reg Landrum officiating.
