Allan Quincy Quillen, 91, passed away Dec. 20, 2003. Survived by his wife, Ollie Quillen; children, Pat Head of Pueblo, Shirley Kruse of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jean Barnes and Geri (Carl) Willis, both of Colorado Springs, Russell (Rae) Thomas of Pueblo and Daniel (Marlene) Quillen of Beulah; numerous grandchildren; great and great-great grandchildren. Allan was born July 27, 1912, in Boone, Iowa to William and Ollie Quillen. He retired as a finish carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters' Union. Allan was also a member of Praise Assembly of God and loved to fish. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at Praise Assembly of God, 2000 Troy, with Pastor Bobby J. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials to Praise Assembly of God Building Fund, through the funeral home.
