  2. Elizabeth,
It’s been a long time…I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. My mom shared with me this address from the Meade Co. Messenger. My condolences and prayers go to you and your husband. I can’t even imagine what you both are going through. Just remember that God is always with you and supporting you. I’m thinking of you and my prayers are truly with you, Elizabeth.

    Love,
    Janette Pike

  3. Elizabeth and Jared we love you and hope that you will always know that we will be there for you guys no matter what the need might be. I can’t imagine the loss you two have suffered, but i do know one thing, you both must be very strong prophets of the Lord. i know that you both are doing the right thing. Stay close to God and your family. Amanda and I are here if you need us. We arent that far away, and we plan on coming out to see you two as soon as I get leave. Alexis was and is a beautiful girl. She is up there in heaven right now teaching the other little kids the barney song. We will never forget her and she will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you both, and always look to God.

  4. Jared and Elizabeth–
I want you to know that I love you and am praying for you constantly. I know you will keep your eyes on Jesus! “Holy God, we ask You to give Jared and Elizabeth all the strength they need. Lord, we ask You to be their Jehovah Rapha and help them to know that You are healing them, and their Jehovah Nissi and help them to know that Your banner is going before them into battle each day. Please be their Jehovah Shalom and their Jehovah Jireh. Lord Jesus, please wrap Your loving arms around them and protect them. Thank You for what You are doing, have done, and will do in their lives! In Jesus name, Amen.”

    Love, Sandy

  5. Elizabeth and Jared:

  6. Elizabeth and Jared,
I can’t imagine what you all are going through but I know that you will get through this. Words can’t express what I want to say or should say. I hope your strength leads you through your pain. Both of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you Elizabeth.
    Sincerely,
    Lori

  7. Lexy was a mothers dream come true. I miss waking up to the little voice asking for cereals with milk. Her and her daddy always had to eat their junky cereal of the mornings together. Throughout the day I would feel tugs on my paints, “Mommy I need a drink, Mommy come play in my house I’ll make you dinner, or Mommy can I watch Barney.” Caring for her the time I did was a blessing and honor. Taking care of that babygirl taught me how to be respondsible. Also that my needs didn’t come first. I enjoyed every second with her. If you asked her who lived in her heart she would alway say Jesus and Barney. Our house was feeled with Barney songs, she had almost every song memorized. I long to hear her singing again. Everynight she wanted to read Jack and the beanstalk and Jonah and the whale before bed. When we would pray before she went to sleep, she always prayed for peace. Jared and I never knew why she would or who taught her that. But while she stayed in the hospital and after her death we both have experienced a peace that only could come from God. The Lord is so mighty the strength he can give us and the comfort he shares has no word to explain it, but incredible just like our Lord. I believe in the word of God and have made him first in my life. In him only I trust. And by doing so I am promised that I will see Lexy again. My daughter is in the best hands of all Jesus Christ.

  8. I can’t imagine how your heart must be aching for your little girl. I pray for you every day that God will cover you with His comfort and love.
    Jan Leary (friend of Rebecca)

  9. Jared and Elizabeth,
I love you both and am praying for you every day. Lexy lit up our lives for too short a time, but her little light is shining bigger and brighter than ever now! We’ll bask in it sooner than anyone really knows! Take heart in God’s love and everyone else’s around you. We love you very very much.
    Great-aunt Vicki

  10. Lexy is a grandparents dream. She is going to be missed by us, but I will see her in the morning. How happy she must be sitting right there in the presence of Jesus. I know she is kissing and hugging him, and He her. I am so thankful that I too will hug and kiss her again. How bright she was here on earth, but I know she shines even brighter in heaven. Her Mom and Dad can rest assure that they won’t miss out on anything when they see her again. God gave Lexy great parents that taught her about Jesus, and now she could teach a thing or two. I love you Jared and Elizabeth, and I love Lexy.
    Love,
    Nana

  18. Lex was truly a joy to be around. Always sweet, and
smiling, she never met a stranger. There will be an
empty space in my heart forever, no more telling the
story of The Three Little Pigs over the phone. I loved
her with all my being and look forward to the day I can
see her beatiful little face again in Heaven.
    Grandma

  19. Elizabeth and Jared,
We are praying for you in this difficult time in your lives. My husband and I are deeply touched by your loss. Reach out to your families in this time of need and know that people here at home are praying for you.

  20. Elizabeth and Jared,
My deepest sympathy and condolences go to you both. I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful, vibrant, playful, and energetic little child. Your hearts must be broken beyond repair. Trust and depend on the Lord. He will carry you through troubled times. Children taken from their parents at such a young age is so unfair and makes no sense to us at all. Sometimes God gives us little angels for only a short time before he calls them back up to heaven with him. My prayers and love are sent in abundance. May God give you the strength you need and the peace you long for. Elizabeth, I LOVE YOU. Turn toward each other for Alexis. Thinking of you always.
