Agnes Mary Wise

Agnes Mary Wise, 87, born December 7, 1915, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, departed this life Oct. 20, 2003. Survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Herbert C. Wise; daughters, Mary Colletti, Sue (Milton) VanDerwalker; grandchildren, Tracy Colletti, Chip (Mel) Colletti, Michael (Nichole) VanDerwalker, Darin VanDerwalker; and great granddaughter, Morgan Colletti. Agnes was employed by JC Penney's until 1968. She was actively involved in the First United Methodist Church for 55 years. She was also a member of ABWA, Pueblo Duplicate Bridge Club, UMW, and a volunteer at the Cooperative Care Center for the past 22 years. Her family and friends meant everything to her as well as helping people less fortunate than herself. She had a very caring and compassionate spirit and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her and were touched by her. The family thanks the Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their caring support in our hour of need and all those who supported Agnes and her family. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 10th and Grand on Friday, October 24, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Cooperative Care Center or Sangre de Cristo Hospice through the funeral home.
