Aaron, you were an inspiration to anyone who was lucky enough to know you. I will miss your Facebook messages giving me a hard time about the Broncos. Enjoy your new beginnings with your Dad. I’m sure he’s happy to have you with him. You can now watch the Patriots and Tom from the best camping spot possible! ❤️
Aaron’s positive spirit set an example for all of us. Like a rose in December he is alive in our memory.
Blessings and prayers to Billie Jean and Cassie.
As an ESS teacher I had the pleasure of being with Aaron throughout his time at Sierra Vista. At first he was my student but as we spent more time together he became my friend. Aaron’s quick wit, wicked sense of humor, positive attitude and perseverance through all adversities endeared him to faculty and students. I have always believed that parents of exceptional students are guardian angels and the most special people. I found this to be true of Billie Jean and Dave as I observed them with Aaron and Cassie and the sacrifices they made to provide them with unconditional love, travel experiences and family outings. In later years I was able to enjoy his company at his graduation celebration and we texted each other on holidays and for support through good and bad times. He had such a positive influence on my life and will never be forgotten.
It is hard to put into words how truly sorry I am for your great loss this year! My heart hurts for you all! 💔But, I am so blessed and lucky to have known your family. Aaron was a very inspirational and special boy. Im so happy I was able to be a part of his educational life even for a short few years. He grabbed a piece of my heart and will always be there. Love and prayers to all. Love Janine.
So sorry for your loss. He was an awesome son. Love and prayers to you and your family.
Aaron left a lasting impression on anyone he has contact with, direct or indirect. I look forward to the stories I will forever hear, as Aaron might be physically gone, but most definitely not forgotten. You all are an amazing family and I feel for your loss. Watching football, especially the super bowl will forever be different.
God Speed.
Aaron was a special person to many, many people. He will be remembered well by everyone who knew him. My condolences to Billie Jean, Cassie and all the family members.
Rest in peace young man. May God great you with open arms and help heal your family.

We are so sorry for your loss Aaron always had such a big smile it was contagious Aaron was such a inspiration to all who knew him such a strong and brave young man Billie and Cassie and family I am so sorry you are all in our prayers ❤️❤️
There were no better neighbors in our lives than the Cortese family. They were always there when you needed them, and the kids were always busy doing something fun. I met Dave at work, and we became fast friends and his passing this year was a tough one. Now once again Billie Jean is asked to take another loss, and it’s not fair. Aaron was just a blast to be around, his attitude was always positive no matter what he was facing with his health, he just got busy living his life.
Billie Jean, Cass, we have no words that can express our gratitude, love and respect for your family, we absolutely adore you guys and are praying for peace and calm during this time.
Praying for strength and Comfort.
Your family is so loved please let us know anything you need I know so many that would be there without hesitation.
Words fail me right now. There is truly no way to verbalize the grief I feel for you and for our community as a whole. You have always heard and are hearing now what an inspiration Aaron was to all who were lucky enough to know him. Every single word of that is true. Aaron taught me and so many what real strength is. To smile through pain. To know laughter is the best medicine. I know he had his emotional struggles at times too but he was blessed with the best family anyone could ever have. Your family (immediate and extended) was the perfect family for Aaron. You gave him everything and his love for you was evident. Every time he spoke of you his adoration was clear. Thank you for bringing Aaron into my world. The impact he made on me was huge. We aren’t supposed to have favorite kids but Aaron was a favorite of mine. He will live on in my heart and in my mind’s eye until my own parting days when I will see him again. All my love 💓 to you.
Words can’t express my thoughts about losing your wonderful and awesome son. His personality and wisdom lite the room with his quick wit. What a special blessing we all have with his memories. A treasure! Love you dearly.
Praying for you all in this deeply sad time. Your son was such an amazing inspiration to all the people that knew and loved him. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you all giant hugs and love.
Dear Billie Jean and family, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your Aaron. I’m praying for comfort for you all. The loss of a child is beyond comprehension no matter the child’s age or health.
Sincerely,
Kathy Layton Troutman
He’ll be sorely missed…
Fly high sweet boy!
