I met Matt the summer of 1995, he was the chief resident at Kansas University Medical Center Internal Medicine department. Matt was such a great man, human being and was a pleasure working with him. I owe him a lot of teaching and great learning from a great man/physician. I just found out of his passing today when this drug rep acme to my office and told me they were adding some places in Colorado to his territory. When he mentioned Pueblo, Colorado the firs thing I told him was that Pueblo was very lucky to have a great cardiologist in Matt. When we google Matt we found out the sad, very sad news. Back in 2001 I interviewed with Matt's group to see if I would relocate to Pueblo, Colorado as a new member to his group. The only reason I considered that group and that city was because of Matt.
