I was not aware she had passed away. I was married to her biological son, Allen Reid Salisbury who was adopted as a baby and passed away in 2020. She actually had 5 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. All live in Des Moines and surrounding areas. Her son and I had met her brother once who was a photographer. We respected her wishes when she told us she didn’t want to meet any of us. If any family members want to reach out now, please do so.
I know the Thompson family lives somewhere near Colfax, Iowa.
I was not aware of Wanda’s passing. She was an amazing woman. I worked with her in Canon City with Farmers Home Administration she taught me a lot. I wish I would’ve known I definitely would’ve been at her Celebration of Life. She will be missed.

My mother worked with her at the Blue Bird Cafe in Centerville Iowa, in the late 50’s and early 60’s. I always had fond memories of doing puzzles with her.

we had some great trips with the Worden family, so glad she went with me in recent years.
