Joseph Chris Shellenberger, 58, born on March 9, 1957, departed this life on Sept. 6, 2015. Preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Shellenberger. Survived by his father, Don Shellenberger; brother, Robert (Cynthia) Shellenberger; sister, Terry (Edward) Eiland; daughters, Alisha (Jeremy) Kenney, Crystal (Donovan) Ford; grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, and Hailey Kenney, Logan Ford; and numerous friends.
Joe was a free spirit who loved to be outdoors surrounded by nature. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains and fishing. He was an avid gardener. He had a passion for animals, especially his pet dogs.

We all had many great times in high school, although I did not know you very well after we graduated I am sure that you were still the wonderful and fun person you were when we all hung out together. Thank you for your service to our country, I know that you struggled when you returned from Vietnam. You will be missed by many RIP Joe
