Glen R. Shepard, Sr., 70, passed away Aug. 11, 2009. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Shepard; children, Glen R. Shepard, Jr. Of Louisville, Ky., Penny (Doug) Bressey of Dallas, Texas, Dennis (Lisa) Shepard of Montgomery, Ala., Tracey (Joe) Moreland of Tulsa, Okla. and Kelly (Nancy) Shepard of Loveland, Ohio; siblings, Charlotte (Arnold) Robinson of Canon City, Sue Nisbet of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bill (Carol) Shepherd of Claremont, N.H. and Morris (Brenda) Shepard of Pueblo; and nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Mary Shepard; and brothers, Fred Shepard and Gary Shepard. Glen was born March 31, 1939, in Pueblo and served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked in auto sales in Oklahoma for many years. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of DAV.
There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans' Ritual Team.
