Ethel Decker, 93, passed away March 10, 2000 in Pueblo. Survived by her daughter, Doriss D. McCamish of Aurora, Colo., sister, Inez Sherman, Denver, and brother, Charles O. Houston of Longmont, Colo. Also survived by her daughter-in-law, Ardell Marr Decker, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Horace L. Decker and son, H. Lehland G. Decker, parents, Oscar and Helena (nee Johnson) Houston, 3 sisters, Lucille Marugg, Faye McConnel, and Decie Miller. Born, October 23, 1906 in Rocky Ford, Colo. and was a Pueblo resident since 1927. Member of the First Baptist Church; Win One Class; Adah Chapter No. 34, OES; past president of Pueblo Womens Chorus; charter member of The Presidents Club of Pueblo, an affiliate of the National Women's Club. At her request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Private interment will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2000 in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with the Rev. Wayne Dvirnak, officiating. The family respectfully requests the omission of food and flowers. Those who desire may make memorials to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.

I missed your service your memorial because I had my third baby a few days before you passed on. I’ll always remember you are beautiful home the care you took in that and the care you took of yourself and your family.   2. Ethel was a special lady to me, and the Mother of my best friend. I enjoyed a lot of Sunday dinners at their house. I enjoyed her and she was very dear to me, I’ll always remember her. With Love Marla Van Duyn Currier
