Billy Joe Dolce I, 83, passed away Nov. 15, 2018, in Walsenburg, Colo. Survived by his wife, Sherry Greenwood Dolce; children, Billy Joe II (Akemi), Audie Lance (Lesa). Becky (Mickey) and Bobbie Jo (Loren); grandchildren, Billy Joe III, Gillianna, Tori and Gennie Mae. Preceded in death by his parents, Ida Mae and Joseph Dolce.
Bill was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Trinidad, Colo. He worked for Local #20 and Local # 208 as a pipefitter/welder for over 50 years. Bill was a staunch union man who believed in workers' rights. He worked heavy construction (power plants, refineries, etc.) and excelled at 'High Rigging.' Bill was a member of Pipefitters and Welders #208, Denver, Colo.
Bill loved to travel, hunt, fish, write poetry and talk politics! He loved and cherished his children. He was at home with his children at the time of his death.
