Lindsey Nicole Shumard Waymire

Lindsey Nicole Shumard Waymire, 41, passed away on Oct. 14, 2026 from a Glioblastoma Brain Tumor. Survived by her sons, Jeremy Waymire and Kayden Waymire; parents, Debbie and Kim Giordano and Kevin and Diane Shumard; sibilings, Amanda (Ethan) Unale, Jeff (Maritza) Giordano, Scott Giordano, Kirsti (Dominick) Giordano, Tom (Janelle) Patton, and Patrice (James) Hawkins; partner, Michael Riordan; aunts and uncles, Diana Sterling, Mark (Holly) Strubel, Dave (Joan) Shumard, Ron (Kathy) Shumard, Linda Shumard, and Gayle Shumard; nieces and nephews, Tanley, Deegan, Miles, Santino, Carmen, Kallaway, Morgan, Caitlyn, and Ashlee; and numerous cousins.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Rudy and Alliene Strubel and Tom and Betty Shumard; uncles, Phil Sterling, Richard Shumard, and Larry Shumard; and special cousin, Phillip Sterling.

Lindsey was born to Debbie Giordano and Kevin Shumard on Dec. 27, 1984, in Pueblo, Colo. She worked for T-Mobile for 23 years with her recent role being Senior Manager of Rural Markets. Being a mom was her greatest joy. She was an avid baseball mom who always showed up for her boys. She treasured every moment with her boys.

Lindsey was a supporter of Game Day Baseball, Wranglers Baseball and Elizabeth High School Baseball.
