Kay Mulay

Kay Mulay passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, at the age of 90, in Pueblo, Colorado. Kay was born on October 2, 1935, in Pueblo, Colorado, to John and Lena Mulay. She graduated from Central High School and later attended a Christian college.

Kay lived in Denver, Colorado, for 30 years, where she worked for the Elliott-Barry Co. as an office manager and bookkeeper. She later moved back to Pueblo to care for her father, uncle, and aunt.

Kay is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena Mulay, and her brothers-in-law, Anthony N. Spera and John E. Purkey.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Jo Purkey; nephews, Chris Spera and Steven Spera (Chawn); and great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan Spera and Colton Spera (Hannah).

Memorial service, 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel.
