Karen Lynn Kaufman, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 19, 2026. She is survived by her mother, Sharon Kaufman; brother, Chris (Shannon) Kaufman; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by her father, Edward “Buzz” Kaufman.

Karen was born to Sharon (Kelley) and Edward “Buzz” Kaufman on May 1, 1964, in Pueblo, Colo. She lived in Alaska for many years, enjoyed art as she was an incredible artist, and loved making people laugh.

Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A reception will be held 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026. For location of the reception, please email Chris at kaufman21chris@gmail.com

  5. CandleImageI was so sorry to learn of Karen’s passing. My mother had an incredible drawing of an eagle she did at the top of our stairs. I always admired it. My deep sympathies to Kelley and Chris.
