Galen "Eli" Ortiz

Galen “Eli” Ortiz, 64, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2026.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lucy Trujillo; sister, Angela M. Bunegar; nephew, Brian Seaton; niece, Melanie Seaton; uncle, John Robert Perez; and several aunts, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Ortiz; brother, Gabriel Ortiz; step-father, Ray Trujillo; and grandparents, William and Mary Perez.

Eli was born on Dec. 19, 1961, in Springfield, Colo. and worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and cooking.
