Shirley Jean (Cusick) Burton, 87, born on Sunday, April 3, 1938, in Florence, Colorado to Dalton and Lona Cusick and passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, in Pueblo, Colorado.
Shirley graduated from Central High School in 1956 and married James Albert Burton on May 15, 1958. Shirley and James owned and operated Affordable Lock Smith Services in Pueblo until they retired in 2012.
She is survived by her children, Keith (Katie) Burton, Susan (DeWitt) French, Raymond (Helen) Burton, Linda (Bruce) Mooney; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Shirley enjoyed sewing, ceramics, embroidery, shopping, yard sales, and Christmas, but spending time with her family was her favorite passion.
