Mrs. Mildred Elouise Strilich, age 90, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Cliff and Ella Pettyjohn and was born on Sept. 21, 1935, in Elkin, N.C.
She was affectionately known as Ellie and was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joe Strilich. She is survived by sons, David (Terry) of Dallas, Texas and Dan (Michele) of Woodland Park, Colo.
Ellie was a loving wife, mother and special friend to many and she will truly be missed by them and many other family members.

Ellie and Joe were two of the finest people I have ever met. I loved sitting with them when we had our monthly class lunches, which are now by the wayside., because we would just have so much fun together chatting about old times and new ones. I miss them both very much but as I say so happy to get to know them.. my sincere condolences and sympathy is with their sons and families.
Also, I graduated with Ellie who was beautiful and sweet.
