Florence Estella Duran was born on September 26, 1952, in Pueblo, Colorado. She passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the age of 73.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Rose and Ciriaco Romero; great-granddaughter, Aubree Baca; and siblings, Sophia Patterson, Patricia Baca, Shirley Jaquez, Mary Birmingham, and Lazaro González.

Florence is survived by her three beloved daughters, Stephanie (Jerry) Saiz, Lisa Duran, and Angelique (Rudy) Fuentes; she was a cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren, Anthony, Felicia, Jonathan (Chantelle) Duran, Brittany (Edgar), Brianna Saiz, Carlos, Aidyn, Mathew Duran, and Ruby Fuentes; proud great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren;  siblings, Consuelo Hernandez, Joe Romero, Ben Romero, Jeannie (Jack) Fairfield, Robert (Veronica) Romero, Paula (Ike) Faulkner, Dave Ortiz, Christina Vallejo, and Dorothy (Tim) Saminto.

Florence was the heart of her family — a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the deep love she shared with everyone who knew her.

There will be a viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Good Shepherd Fellowship, 1216 E. Beech St. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
