Sharon Ann Perkovich, 75, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 surrounded by her daughters. Sharon was born on August 5, 1950 in Pueblo to proud parents, Milan J. Perkovich (1999) and Juliana J. Perkovich (1989).

She was preceded in death by her son, Edward G. Whitesell, Jr. (Little Eddie 1975); siblings, Allen C. Perkovich (1973), JoAnn Perkovich (2005), and Janice L. Perkovich (2025).

Preceded in death by her beloved sons-in-law, John Kovach (2018), and Aaron Lusk (2022).

Survived by daughters, Susan Kovach, Pamela (Mike) Diamond, and Michelle Lusk; granddaughter, Emma Vander Valk; great-granddaughters, Annaliese Vander Valk and Emeryn Vander Valk; friends, Marc Gatliff, and Carrie Asgari; step-grandson, Austin Kersey; niece, Juliana “JJ” J. Hine (Anita); siblings, Juliana (Jack) Rader, Joseph (Denise) Perkovich, and Mary Perkovich.

Sharon retired in 2022, and enjoyed playing Bingo with her daughter Susan. She loved tending to her garden, watching the hummingbirds with her daughter Michelle, and talking politics and religion with her daughter Pamela. Her greatest and absolute joy was her granddaughter Annaliese. They would watch lots of cartoons together

Sharon was the greatest Mom ever! She was a fabulous cook, and made the best green chili. She loved taking long drives and listening to Elvis who was her all time favorite performer. Sharon loved watching old TV shows, and on the weekends she would watch Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Wagon Train and The Andy Griffith Show

Sharon always put her girls first, and will be truly missed and forever loved by them and anyone who knew her.

She is singing in the House of the Lord and finally reunited with her son and family who she has missed all these years.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel with a reception to follow.
