Oh I was so saddened to see this!!! Sparky and I were in Show Choir at Centennial in 1967. He was always so easy to be around and so pleasant. What a great guy! My condolences to the family.

Dwight Holmes Smith, “Sparky,” 75, passed away on June 25, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Gayle A. Smith; sons, Micheal D. Smith and Bennett M. Smith; and sister, Winifred “Cricket” (Bruce) Brandenburg.
Preceded in death by his parents, Winifred and Bernard Smith
Sparky was born on May 5, 1950, in Pueblo, Colorado. He was a Professional Photographer and Biomedical/Computer and Information Systems Manager at Parkview Hospital and a member of First United Methodist Church in Pueblo.
Memorial service, 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. Pastries and Coffee will be provided following the service. A private family interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Pueblo at a later date.
