Ann Lennon obituary –

On May 22nd, 2025, we had to say our final goodbye to this fantastic Boss Lady. We were so proud to call her Mom & Grandma. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones at age 90.

Ann was born in Pueblo, Colorado on November 11, 1934, to Anton & Anna Gradisar. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Lennon.

Ann worked as an Xray Technician for many years and retired from the Pueblo Radiological Group. She was known for her fabulous baking skills and was famous for her apple strudel, chocolate cake, occasional wedding cake, and fantastic bran muffins.

Ann lived her life on her own terms. She loved and welcomed everyone, found the best in people, and was always there for us.

She is survived by her children, Letitia Lennon, Deanna Lennon, Shawna (Edward) Sanchez, Michael (Christina) Lennon, and Kathleen (Jeff) Giordano.

Also survived by her grandchildren, Travis & Melissa Garcia. Cicely Sanchez, Jessica (Brendan) Cabral, Elizabeth Sanchez, Samantha Sanchez,  Gus Sanchez, Joey Giordano, and Drew Lennon (Meghan).  She is also survived by brother-in-law, Dennis Lennon (Barbara); numerous great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Jane Gradisar.

Preceded in death by her brothers, Walter (Marjorie) Gradisar, Henry Gradisar, Joseph Gradisar, Stanley (Ramona) Gradisar,  Anthony (Lila) Gradisar, Gabriel (Mary Lou) Gradisar, Francis Gradisar, George Gradisar;  and  grandson, Mikey Sanchez.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all of Ann’s friends, nieces, nephews and neighbors who provided support and meant so much to her throughout her life.

  1. CandleImageI love you Kathy, grandma Ann was a remarkable woman, and was the rock of the Lennon family. I love you guys so much .

  2. CandleImageI first met Ann in 1959 when I started by X-Ray training at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. Ann was a senior technician as she had passed the national exam and was a Registered Technician. She set a professional example for all of us young technicians just entering the school of X-Ray. Ann was patient with all of the new students, as we each were assigned to a senior technician. She proved to be an excellent mentor. Through the years I would see Ann periodically and it was always fun to catch up with her and the latest news of her life and family. She was very family oriented and will be remembered as a genuine human being full of compassion and empathy for all. My most heartfelt condolences to Ann’s family. Your loved one was truly the salt of the earth.
