Merle Rose Jordan, 90, passed away on December 21, 2024. She is survived by her son, David Jordan; daughter, Wendie (William) Arnold; and grandsons, Brock and Brian Arnold.
Preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Jordan.
Merle was born to Ernest and Lois Bair on May 10, 1934, in Indiana. She enjoyed horseback riding, silver smithing, the outdoors, camping and painting.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel.

Merle will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and her infectious laugh. A wonderful mother and great friend. All of us who knew her are the lucky ones. I share in your sorrow.
We will miss Merle’s sense of humor. We enjoyed posting photo memories on her timeline. Her generous heart was as big as her smile. We remember her chuckling when she and Glenn gave us chickens with a waterer and feeder for our wedding – bringing us years of “eggcelent” breakfasts! She also gave our family the wooden rocking horse that all 3 of our children loved – of course Merle would make sure they were horseback! Sending thoughts and prayers to family.
