John R Naylor II, 86, was born to John R. and Leola Naylor, a veterinarian and a homemaker in Denver, Colorado on August 9, 1937, passed away August 15, 2023. John attended Colorado A&M (Aggies)and then Denver University where he received his law degree in 1962.
John was blessed with a loving family. He married his beautiful wife Joanne in March of 1959 in Denver, Colorado. He had the good fortune to receive a job as Assistant City Attorney in Pueblo, Colorado and moved to Pueblo where they raised 3 children. John felt a close bond with the many people he worked with. It wasn’t easy for him to retire because he felt he was needed. He was loved and respected by so many. There have been so many words used to describe John: an original, honorable, truthful, respectful, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, humble, ornery, lovable, a passionate man with a sense of humor and legal acumen.
John made quite a name for himself…..

  1. We are sad to hear about John. He was our attorney for many, many years as well as a friend. You could always count on him to be knowledgeable and willing to help with all your legal issues. John was also a lot of fun.Football games were a hoot and the many Friday evening dinners something to look forward to. He a
always had a humorous story or a joke to tell us. It is with a sad heart that we send our condolences to his family and beloved wife, Joanne.
