Elizabeth “Lizzie” Ellen Hipp, 66, passed away peacefully on Sept. 27, 2022, after a long illness. Lizzie was born to Roy and Lucia Hipp on April 2, 1956, in Pueblo, Colo. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy; and brother, Roy Jr. She is survived by her mother, Lucia; brother, Larry (Nancy); and sister, Esther Dawson.
Lizzie graduated from Centennial High School and then went on to pursue a degree in Radiology. She enlisted in the Army and after nine years, received a hardship discharge to take care of her ailing father. In later years, she also cared for her mother. Lizzie was a caregiver at heart, focusing on her love for animals, many of which she rescued and gave a loving home.
