Evelyn Marie Herd, 94, born in Pueblo, Colo. to Frank and Flora Murphy. She attended Pueblo Centennial High School and married William T. Herd in 1948, and in 1955, had a daughter, Christine. Evelyn worked as a bookkeeper. The family moved to Beulah, Colo. in 1966. She loved working outside building rock and cement walls all around their house. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Herd; and parents, Flora and Frank Murphy. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Charles) Meyer; granddaughter, Tabitha (Michael) Davis; grandson, Kevin Meyer; and great-granddaughters, Kira and Breanna Davis. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Evelyn Herd may be made to the Beulah Fire Protection & Ambulance Service, PO Box 826, Beulah, CO 81023. There will be no viewing. Graveside service, 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Beulah Cemetery, Beulah, Colo.

Rest in peace my dear cousin, your suffering is over, in Heaven you shall see our loved ones once again. We had a special bond you and me, I will always remember you and the good times we had. The bantering back and forth, that wry little smile of yours that always made me smile.
