Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I’ve only spoken with Kevin a handful of times but it was always a pleasure. Kevin, even though going through a hard time in life was always pleasant and kind. I wish him peach. My prayers go out to the family. Losing a brother/son/father is one of the hardest things.
    I wish everyone the best.

“When the ones we love have been taken from us, the way to have them live on forever is to never stop loving them”

  2. To the entire Verna family, I’m sorry for your loss. I want you to know that Kevin was a special person who touched the lives of many people with his happy, fun, outgoing personality. All you need to do is witnessing all the people who attended Kevin’s memorial service and read all the online condolences, with many more to come. Kevin’s memorial service, and lunch reception after, was really great and I felt honored to be part of the Verna family dinner that evening. I really enjoyed meeting and reconnecting with the Verna family and friends, although, I wish it was for another reason. May God bless you with smiles and happy memories of Kevin.

  3. To the Verna Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I fondly remember him in elementary and middle school. He was involved in so many things that gave him the opportunity to shine. School plays, sports, and band with the drums. I remember in the band how he loved to be the conductor – he was so animated and it would make the class so much fun.
I am glad I was able to reconnect with him at his company, it was like no time had passed. I can say he was always a friend. He will be missed. I wish your family Peace.

  4. To the Verna Family, Nadene, Bret, Mitch and Johnathon and your extended families. You have lost a son, brother, father and I have lost my best friend! So many memories I wish I could share. I would be here all day listing the legal and illegal acts we were involved in. I don’t know why we were so close because we are polar opposites! He is very outgoing and comfortable talking to strangers and I would say trusting of everyone around him. I on the other hand, very reserved and very judgmental. I had a tenancy to make my judgement on first impression. Maybe that was good. Kevin needed someone like me to say no to some of his ideas he had over the years. I am truly going to miss the adventures, the fly fishing, the golfing. I failed however to get Kevin to rid that god awful slice he had! Most golfers have a natural draw or fade of the ball, they don’t have a natural and constant slice when they play the game. Another good friend that had so much more living to do and has gone way too soon. I am going to miss my buddy Kevin.
