  1. Dear family I am so sorry for your loss. I new Rich from him working at Gobins coming and fixing my copiers first at DeRose Dental clinic and then for Pueblo City Schools when he would come to Irving Elementary and work on our copies there. He is such a great guy always so nice to talk to and getting to know him and how he enjoyed his family and friends, talking about traveling when he would retire. I met Becky at the Candy Store in the mall a long time ago. Hugs and Prayers God Bless all of you. Mary Sabott

  2. I was so sorry to hear that Rich was sick, and my son Chris always kept me updated on his progress over the years. I know he and the entire family fought hard to beat it and now there’s comfort, i know, that God truly has a plan, since they did all they knew how to do. I know Rich was always a positive role model in Chris’ life, and the Golden family has been a solid presence in my family’s life, especially since the loss of our Richard. I feel lucky to have known Rich. He was always hard at work on his yard, and I’ve even seen him repair office machines, expertly I might add, at various office jobs where I’ve worked around town. As a father, he was firm but loving, and kept his sons on a straight path, they have always known right from wrong. Since both brothers were Chris’ first friends since he was 2 and a half, I’ve had an opportunity over the last 35 years to watch them all grow into fine young men, I’m sure Rich’s strong guidance has had an influence on them all. My sincere condolences to Becky, Richard, Greg and Phoebe and their family, and Sherrie and her family. Janette Stern and Family

  3. We were so very saddened to hear of the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. Richard was like a papa bear with his deep voice — and we knew he always had his kids’ best interests in his heart. We have such good memories of all our kids, Richard and Greg and Brian and Dave, as well as Ty Tek and Greg Z., with all of their adventures in and around University Park, with dads and moms trying to keep track of it all. How time flies…. Just know that we are thinking of you……….. Jerry and Marilyn Lehl

  4. Very sorry to hear this. My son, Ty, and Greg were good good friends when they were kids. Many happy memories. My sympathy to Becky, Richard, and Greg, and the whole family. Carol Tekavec
