Patrick J. Romero, 71, passed away at Joni Fair Hospice House on Dec. 22, 2014. Survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Pamela Romero and Patricia (Jeff) Henschel; brothers, Frank (Martha) Romero, Toby (Lynn) Romero; and brothers-in-law, Arthur (Rita) Montoya and David (Theresa) Montoya. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Molly Romero; brother, Leroy Romero; sisters, Gloria and Veronica; in-laws, Isadore and Mary Montoya; sisters-in-law, Dolores Urenda and Josephine Montoya; brother-in-law, Alfonso Montoya; uncle, Joe Romero; and the loves of his life, Charlie the lab and Harley the boxer. Patrick was born on Jan. 22, 1943, in Trinidad, Colo. and was raised in Pueblo. He served in the Navy from 1964 to 1968, and retired from Prudential Insurance as an agent. Patrick was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #557 and the Montoya Club. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Rosary, 7 p.m. Monday, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Memorial Mass, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. Dec. 30, 2014, at Our Lady of the Meadows, 23 Starling Dr. Inurnment, Roselawn Cemetery.   4. I was very sadden to hear about Pat passing, Joseph and I had planned on going to pueblo to the service but the weather did not permit us to go. Prayers to all the Romero family. Remembering all the visits we had with Aunt Mollie and Uncle Frank and all of you guys.

  5. Mr. Romero was one of the nicest, happiest and most generous, warm persons to ever grace this Earth. As a child, I spent a lot of time with Tricia and her family. Mr. Romero was always happy, smiling and laughing. We will miss his infectious smile and joy he brought to all he came in contact with. Heaven definately received an angel!

  6. We are so very shocked and saddened at primo Pat’s passing. George and I were going to try to attend the funeral but the weather isn’t cooperating. Our condolences and love to Charlotte and the girls, Frankie, Toby, and the family. – George & Samantha, Laurrie, and Tommy (the Bacas).

  7. To Pam and family, I went to middle and high school with Pam and I remember your father being a sharp dresser, very upbeat and friendly. He also knew my parents well. Keep the memories and pictures of your father close. It helps!

  8. My sympathy to Pat’s family. I worked with Pat at Vidmar’s and always enjoyed his humorous personality. The world needs more people like him. I’ll never forget his easy going manner. God Bless and may he rest in peace.

  9. To the Romero family; My condolances, Patrick was a patient of mine for a period of time and everytime I saw him in public he was cordial, kind and humorous. I would ask for him often when I would encounter someone who knew him as I hadn’t seen him for a number of years. I know he suffered much with back pain and had had a heart attack a number of years ago. I will remember him in my prayers especially in tonights Rosary. Dr. Villalon and family

  10. Charlotte, I’m saddened to read of Pats transition, yet had to smile as I thought of how fun & humorous he was. We were desk mates at Vidmar & he brought joy to every day. Probably why we all met for cocktails and more laughs, huh? My prayers to you & your family for Peace in your lives

  11. My next door neighbor from the ‘BLOCKS’, my friend, I was so sorry to hear that you were gone. I have such fond memories of you, Frank and Toby growing up. I still pray for your Mom and Dad that they have eternal peace and happiness with our LORD in HEAVEN. Now I will add your name to my prayer list. Goodbye my friend!
