Brandt E. Daniels, 31, passed away May 6, 2014. Survived by daughters, Rachael and Aubrey; step-son, Aidan; fiancé, Alexis Marquez; parents, Vance and Rebecca Whittington of Rye, Colo. and Neil and Delores Daniels of Wichita, Kan.; brother, Chad and Michelle Harmon of Ulysses, Kan.; and their children, Kaiya Harmon and Nathan, Mackinzie and Kayla Brungardt; sister, Kayla and Brandon Hopper; and their children, Elyvia, Gracelyn, Easton and Emersyn; sister, Danielle Daniels; step-siblings, Justin, Jessica, Shannon, Amanda, Leslie, Tammy and their families; grandparents, Virginia Godfrey of Ulysses, Kan. and Daryl and Sally Daniels of Manter, Kan.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; dog, Buddy; and cat, Shadow. Brandt was born in Johnson, Kan. on May 25, 1982, to Rebecca Whittington and Neil Daniels. He was a Senior Officer at the U.S. Dept. of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons in Florence, Colo. Brandt enjoyed the outdoors, family, reading, cooking, eating, guns and he was a lifetime member of the NRA. Viewing, 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Monday, at Praise Assembly of God Church, 2000 Troy Avenue. Honor guard provided by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for his children at Security Service FCU.
