Nancy (Dupps) Colglazier, 85, passed away April 29, 2026. Nancy (Dupps) Colglazier born on August 4, 1940, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy defined by devotion, service, and a deeply caring heart.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Norm; sister, CJ (Buzz) Schoenbeck; her daughters, Terri (Tim) Garnett and Cindy Gradishar; her cherished grandchildren, Kristin Garnett, Kori (Samer) Mukayess, Jenny (Theo) Lebow and Alexander (Julie) Gradishar; and great-grandchildren, Kinslee, Indy, Cooper, Ivy, Sophie, Emillia, Kole, and newest grandson, John; numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in supporting them in every way possible. Whether cheering from the sidelines or simply sitting by with a warm smile, her presence was a constant source of comfort and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L. Charles and Opal (Stum) Dupps; her sister, Charla Lindsay; her in-laws, Sid and Berneil Colglazier; and her brother-in-law, Sid Colglazier.
Nancy grew up attending Park View Elementary, Risley, and Centennial High School, graduating in 1958. She went on to spend 30 dedicated years with the Pueblo Board of Water Works, where she served as Supervisor of Billing. Nancy was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and the respect she earned from colleagues throughout her years of service.
A woman of faith and service, Nancy volunteered at St. Paul Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church, and was an active member of Assistance League of Pueblo. She was also a member of PEO Chapter AU/DU, where she formed lasting friendships and supported opportunities for women through education.
While she may not have been known for her cooking, she will be remembered for her generous spirit, kind heart, infectious giggle and the love she shared so freely with others.
The family would like to thank Miss Rita her Visiting Angel and Miss Shelby her hospice nurse for the love and care that you gave to our wife, Mom and Gram. Your time and energy were much appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 8th, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Assistance League of Pueblo, PEO Chapter AU/DU or Sangre de Cristo Hospice, in honor of Nancy’s life and legacy.

When I joined the East High coaching community in 1974, Norm was a mentor for me. Nancy was always kind and made both myself and Martha feel welcome and a part. Our condolences to the entire family.
Nancy was such a great person to work with. Didn’t let a drop of water go unaccounted for !
Our thoughts are with the Colglazier family. I remember those days during the 1959-1961 basketball seasons when my mother would host the wives and girlfriends of Pueblo College players to listen to the Indians’ road games on the radio. Those were special times, and my family enjoys a special bond with Norm and Nancy. Tim Simmons
Nancy lived next door to my Grandparents on E 6th St. I was always in awe of the Dupps girls, I was so young and they were so cool! I again met Nancy while helping out at the Bargain Box, it was so great to see her again, and of course she just exudes laughter, joy and happiness! Condolences to her family and friends. (By the way, I got CJ’s old bike!)
I grew up just a few houses up the block and spent many hours playing with all the neighborhood kids, including Cindy and Terri. Mrs. Colglazier was always watching out for us and treated us with such kindness, no matter how rowdy we were. As an adult, I would run into her at the store and she was the same kind, caring person I remembered as a child. She was genuinely interested in you and her kindness was authentic. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I know she is still smiling down on you. May she rest in peace and may God bless the family.
I met Nancy while taking care of her mom at Life Care. She left a lasting impression on my heart. Time spent visiting with her and her mom will never be forgotten. God bless your wonderful family.
It broke my heart to learn that my longtime friend from Risley Jr. High School had passed away. She is the last of my small group of close friends who first met in 7th grade. I will sorely miss her. Nancy was the sweetest person who always lifted up anyone around her. I extend my deepest condolences to you Norm, CJ, Cindy, Terri, and the rest of her family and friends. Thank you Cindy for emailing me with the dreadful news before it was published in the paper. I have emailed our Centennial Classmates Class of 1958 who remain on the classmate database that I maintain. RIP Nans! Until we met again.
Heartfelt condolences to all of Nancy’s family and friends. Nancy welcomed all with a sweet smile and kindness.
