You have lost a special Matriarch! When I heard about your Mom’s passing, I thought of all the wonderful memories we shared together. Your Dad and Mom recruited Russ to be a Gideon! We broke bread together at camp meetings. Claudette was like a Mother to me; I could talk to her about anything I was feeling or facing. Praying for comfort, peace and strength.
Charles and I have so many memories of you and your Mom and Dad at Central Christian. Please know that we share in your loss but know that she is with your Dad at peace. Juanita DeHeart

Dear Slaughter Family, I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Mom, I know she will be greatly missed. She was a precious soul; I loved her smile and the way she always made us feel loved. I’m happy for the joy she is experiencing right now, and look forward to that reunion we will all have in heaven. Sending love and prayers to you all.

What a wonderful woman! Your family was lucky to have such loving and devoted parents who showed you Christianity and faith by the way they lived their lives. I know you will miss her!
