Barbara Lee Smith, 83, passed away on August 18, 2026. Survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Terry Smith; her two sons, Derrick (Kaycie) and Craig Smith; granddaughters, Samantha DeBee (Daniel), Amanda Pullaro, Ahnahkah Peeples (Paul); and great-grandchildren, Dzinuvi, Akadi, and Delali Nuku, Elliott and Hayden Miller.
Barbara was born to Betty Lee and Robert Lynch on November 14, 1942, in Pueblo, Colo.
Barbara loved her family immensely and gave her full heart to them. She was an unwavering good listener when she was needed most. She was deeply loved and her humor, honesty, unconditional love and acceptance made her an anchor for her family and will be deeply missed.
She adored her devoted husband Terry. Their friendship and marriage was a remarkable gift. She enjoyed working with him as they ran their Ceramic business in Pueblo for many years, Tigs Ceramics and later Clay Smith Ceramics. They enjoyed their trips to Santa Fe, NM where they picked out pottery and art together. She was a long-time member of Beta Sigma Phi devoting her time to community service. Her legacy lives on through her family who
are all better people for having been loved by her.

Condolences 🙏 Terry and family. I worked evening at Tig’s in the early 1970’s I remember Barbara loved everything black and white! I was at Tig’s so often that your mom put me to work, such a great lady, your dad, smoking cigars and you with your black apron on with mud on it, all hard workers. Oh I remember it was Christmas time and your mom and dad gifted employees envelopes and Barbara tossed away the card with the money in it by mistake and you, Terry had to go through the trash looking for it 😂 I do not recall if you ever found it! Fun memories of Barbara and your family peace be with each of you.
My deepest sympathy to Barbara’s family. I have fond memories of Barbara’s involvement with Beta Sigma Phi. Barbara was always a bit humorous & a very hard working gal. May your memories help bring peace during this time.

My sincere condolences to all of Barb’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Barb at Hatfield’s Plus in the 80s and 90s. She was such a joy to work and it was an honor to call her my friend. Rest in peace my friend
