Saundra Lee
Saundra Lee "Sandy" Esquibel

May 25, 1947 - March 15, 2019
Born in Boise, Idaho
Resided in Pueblo, Colorado

Saundra “Sandy” Lee Esquibel, 71, born May 25, 1947, in Boise, Idaho, passed away March 15, 2019, in Pueblo, Colo. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert H and Genevieve “Ann” (Teter) Myers; brother, Gary D Myers and loving husband, Tiodoro Esquibel. Survived by daughter, Christy Belore and her sons, Austin and Hunter of Pueblo West, Colo; son, Ted R Esquibel of Pueblo, Colo. and pup children, Lily & Sara. Sandy owned and operated Ted’s Tire Service alongside her husband of nearly 50 years, Ted. While this was a business she helped build her real passion was art; she was a talented and successful watercolor artist and jewelry maker. Her love of animals, horses in particular, was nearly as big as her gift of gab. Sandy never met a stranger and always loved sharing a good joke! Her best friend, Karin, described her best as generous, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, non-judgmental, a trusted friend, cowgirl and pioneer. Throughout her life Sandy was involved in many organizations from the Rape Crisis Center, to Alpha Mu Delta sorority, the Sangre de Cristo Art Society, YWCA board member, the Watercolor Society, a member of her high school reunion planning committee, and even recently becoming President of her HOA. She was our mother and Mimi always…there are no words to describe all she meant to us. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial Service, 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Online condolences,
