Pete D. Pullara, 87, passed away on March 22, 2019. He grew up in Avondale, farming with his family. Pete attended Pueblo Junior College, where he studied pre-engineering and played basketball and baseball. In 1958, he and his father, Felix, partnered to start Pullara Implement Company in Vineland. Their business faithfully served the agricultural community for 38 years, and during this time Pete made many friendships, which he always treasured. Pete was well known for his integrity, compassion, work ethic, loyalty, kindness and caring nature. Family, friends and customers knew they could always count on Pete. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Rose Marie “Cookie” Pullara (married 51 years prior to her passing in 2007); parents, Felix and Josephine (Greco) Pullara; siblings, Jeannine and Ray; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Marguerite Butero; and life-long friends, Marion Zinanti, Robert “Buff” Buffington, Joe “Cracky” and Gerry Centa, Joe Pritekel, Phil and Grace Prutch, and Bob and Ruth Cramer. Survived by his children, Scott (Kanda), Kathleen and Jeff (Julie); grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Ramie), Matthew (Jacky), Devin (Devin Nicole), Aubry, Shannan and Collin; great grandchildren, Jack, Emma, Liam and Rory; sisters, Lillian Norman, Peggy Greathouse and Connie (Ron) Cortese; and dear friends, Janny Zinanti and Nancy Pritekel.
