Mary Kay (McClure) Catron, 64, went to sing in the Lord’s choir on Jan. 1, 2019, in Boone, Colo. She was born April 13, 1954, in Pueblo, Colo., lived in Colorado all of her life surrounded by friends and family and trusted in the Lord when she was six. She met her loving husband, Herman Catron, at a Bible study late 1976. They married Nov. 13, 1983. She helped her husband run his contracted railroad transportation company while her husband farmed. After four kids, they moved to the Avondale Family Farm. She shared her love for the Lord with children that she taught in Sunday School in all the churches she was a member of and also sang specials for all to hear. She spent her times at home studying her Bible, taking care of and playing games with the six children and husband that God had blessed her with, playing games on the computer, sewing and crocheting, gardening and canning, recycling and in the end, spoiling, rocking and singing her grandbabies to sleep. She also enjoyed going on numerous vacations with her husband and children, getting out with family and friends to go bowling and going out to eat; some of her favorite places were: China Lantern, Captain D’s and Rita’s. Preceded in death by her father, James McClure; sisters, Grace (David) Faix and Darlene (Karl) Hoyt; brother, John Mcclure; brothers-in-law, Bob Melon, Michael Taylor, Sonny, Alfred and Jamie Catron.
