Brett Roland Leyh went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Brenda; children, Lauren and Jackson; parents, Roland and Susan; sister Lori; mother-in-law, Sharon Hintz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Keith (Jennifer) Hintz, Sheila (Steve) Kuester, Nathan (Christy) Hintz, and Bradd Hintz, as well as a niece and numerous nephews, uncles and aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Philip and Elsie Leyh and Norris and Ruth Nye.
Brett graduated from the University of Denver with his Bachelor's of Science in 1994 and his Master’s of Business Administration in 1997. While at DU, he served as the President of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and was a proud SAE.
Brett returned to Pueblo in 1998 as a CPA and ran the RSL Accounting firm where he worked with his father for 20 years. Brett was active in the Pueblo community having served as President of the Pueblo Country Club, member of the Parkview Foundation, President of the Minnequa Rotary, Elder at First Presbyterian Church, and resided on several bank and business advisory boards. He was a fiercely loyal businessman and friend. Brett was passionate about several charities including Compassion International and programs promoting athletics for underprivileged youth.
At home, Brett was a devoted father and husband. He loved hunting, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He could be found every Saturday cheering on his kids at the soccer fields.
Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at Fellowship of the Rockies, 3892 W. Northern.
