Our new chapel mausoleum was consecrated on Memorial Day 2001 and graces the west grounds of Mountain View Cemetery. This majestic structure is part of our continuing commitment to improve and expand Mountain View Cemetery. The structure is faced with a granite exterior which encompasses four carved stone tablets. The inscription on each offers the visitor hope and a message of solace. Surrounded by trees and lush green lawns, the Mausoleum is a fitting memorial to those who have been laid to rest here. Every year on Memorial Day, our special commemorative service at 10:00 A.M. brings together members of the community to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom, and to remember those who have gone before us due to various circumstances. Now would be a good time to mark your calendar and plan to attend this beautiful event. |
| The Mausoleum Chapel features a beautiful gas - log fireplace surrounded by a wall comprised of glass front niches for the placement of urns and photographs as well as small personal mementos. |

|
With provision for both entombment and inurnment, the Mausoleum will shelter over 600 remains once filled. Bronze plaques proclaim the names of those individuals who's lives, not deaths, are remembered. |
